About us
Danny Jones Middle School, nestled in the vibrant DFW Metroplex in Mansfield, TX, occupies a central place in our community. As a proud member of the Mansfield Independent School District, Danny Jones serves as the primary feeder school for Lake Ridge High School.
Our Danny Jones Middle School Ensembles are known for their remarkable achievements. Year after year, they secure sweepstakes at the UIL Concert Band and Sight-reading evaluation. The Danny Jones Wind Ensemble has consistently reached the esteemed area level of the TMEA Honor Band process, earning recognition as a TMEA Honor Band Finalist in 2016.

The mission of Danny Jones Middle School is to prepare all students for the future by providing a challenging, relevant education in a safe, culturally conscious environment where support is offered for struggling students and successes are celebrated resulting in a recognized campus.

The Award-Winning Jones Middle-Mary Lillard Intermediate School Band program is comprised of more than 300 students in grades 6 through 8. One of largest and most successful organizations on campus, the program prides itself on delivering the highest level of music education. The program offers many opportunities for students to perform and be engaged at a high level.
