Danny Jones Middle School, located in Mansfield, TX in the heart of the DFW Metroplex, holds a central place in the community as a proud member of Mansfield ISD. The campus serves as the primary feeder to Lake Ridge High School.
The Danny Jones Middle School Band program is known for its tradition of excellence. All three concert bands consistently earn Sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert Band and Sight-Reading Evaluation each year. The Danny Jones Wind Ensemble has also been a regular contender in the TMEA Honor Band process, advancing to the area level multiple times and earning recognition as a TMEA Honor Band Finalist in 2016.
The Award-Winning Jones Middle-Mary Lillard Intermediate School Band program is comprised of more than 300 students in grades 6 through 8. One of largest and most successful organizations on campus, the program prides itself on delivering the highest level of music education. The program offers many opportunities for students to perform and be engaged at a high level.
